Let's begin with Blue, the most widely used color in the world. Besides being my favorite color, a quick search reveals the plethora of significance and positive representations associated with this beautiful color. With all the vibrant shades and hues, blue evokes so many wonderful experiences. Thinking of blue immediately connects me to beautiful blue skies and radiant blue seashores, where I bask in joy, fun, relaxation, and views of good times past and future.
Blue inspires associations with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, knowledge, power, expertise, confidence, stability, faith, and intelligence. Light Blue is associated with health, healing, tranquility, understanding, and softness. In nature, Blue represents cooling and helps with balance and self-expression. Blue can represent rest and introduce the release of calming chemicals, producing feelings of tranquility. Blue's amalgamation of dynamic significance, representation, meaning, and qualities of being is genuinely a life goal to desire.
Partnering the vast and positive characteristics of Blue with Tiers, we discover an awareness of our journey toward life goals, as depicted through Blue.
Tiers are rows, ranks, layers, seating levels, the arrangement or organization of something, one of several levels of importance or quality, and status. Reaching the highest, most beneficial, and prestigious Tier of that desired thing, goal, or dream is widely preferred. The top Tier represents status, achievement, success, joy, and pleasure.
Whatever Tier you wish to reach, it requires some form of energy and effort to achieve and maintain membership. For me, and hopefully for you, they are the Blue Tiers. Blue Tiers are about character, qualities of being, values, life's intentions, and success, not merely monetary accomplishments, but success defined by awareness, authenticity, and actions to support others.
Welcome to Blue Tiers Coaching! My name is Sheldon Brackett, and I hope to support you through coaching.
The decision to coach has been a blessing, as the certification process has provided tremendous personal and professional growth. I love connecting with people and hearing their stories, which fill my life with joy and fuel my purpose to support and serve. My passion is supporting people to discover and embrace awareness so their presence is authentic, empowering, and impactful for their life while cultivating extraordinary results with others.
As an executive with over 30 years of experience in technology and nonprofit organizations, I am a results-oriented leader focused on effective organizational management, with a strong emphasis on fostering healthy relationships and developing people, plans, systems, and outcome measures for success. I have been blessed to be a contributor to success in a multitude of roles throughout my career with Borland International, LA County Office of Education, State Farm, Disney, and Kaiser. Ultimately, leadership is where I have thrived through my natural ability to connect with people and serve as a mentor to many. I have served as the Board Chair for several NPOs, as the Director of the Torrance Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Torrance program, and as a volunteer for Fostering Hope LA, Community’s Child, Food Finders, and several other local organizations.
Many have told me that I possess high values and emotional intelligence, maturity, excellent listening and problem-solving skills, humility, integrity, the ability to trust and be trusted, consistent application of ethical principles, accountability, balance, and innovation as part of my character and core values. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, cooking, experiencing great food, wine tasting, watching my favorite LA sports teams, bike riding, racquetball, and learning something new.
